What is GRI?

The GRI designation is a national designation delivered by the state REALTOR® associations. The 90-hour course of study meets the accreditation standards established by the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®. Upon completion of the program, students are awarded the GRI designation (Graduate REALTOR® Institute). Only members of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® may hold the GRI designation.

Testimonials

"I encourage all my new agents to get started in the GRI progrm. Once they have taken one class, I never have to bother them again because they have never had classes that pertain to the day to day activity as does the GRI."

- John Stacey, GRI, Broker, McCulloch Realty

"I've noticed that the GRI classes have totally impacted my conversations with clients in every area - listing presentations, buyer-broker agreements, how I write a contract, the verbiage I use, the structure of a contract, and the many new learned nuances of real estate law and abiding within the REALTOR® Code of Ethics. I interact differently with my broker (who is a GRI also and encouraged me to get my designation). I notice that I am also much more confident, knowledgeable, and able to quickly and easily share that new knowledge with my clients. Truly, receiving my GRI has given me the tools I needed to heighten my confidence in protecting and promoting the interests of my clients."
